Appreciated our big size and elegant rooms in this hotel.

booked a room for our baggage. there was stylish interior. the venue was in a very central location just off the centre of amsterdam, and the trams/buses/metro.

The hotel was clean with particularly good and amazing location right in the city centre and new-fashioned rooms. There were central heating, an electronic key card and TV in the room, thoroughly enjoyed that...

Who would want to stay in a room with mosquitos? I almost gave a good review but the air conditioning was non-existant. Where's my complimentary surprise for that?

Truly enjoyed this AMAZING and fairly clean hotel, met every demand. The staff was polite and honest, as for 3-stars property. Last time we stopped we had an elegant, fantastic room with great AC and a view of an access area, for example. Also, location was great, at walking distance from Anne Frank House.

The room was impressively clean and modern, and the coffee facilities were such a nice touch! the sliding door on the en suite was a bit tricky.

The Comfort City View Room offered a beautiful view, but that's about where the positives ended. The room felt cramped, with a dusty atmosphere that triggered my allergies. Windows wouldn't open easily, and the air conditioning unit was barely effective. The bathroom layout was cramped, just a shower that soaked the entire area when used. I found the floor sticky, off-putting. Safety was a concern as staff didn't seem present around the clock. Despite its central location near metro and tram stations, I needed to cut my stay short due to the issues. On day two, my allergies worsened, turning into a sinus infection. Too little space for luggage made it even more uncomfortable. While the central location is beneficial for access to main attractions, the room quality and cleanliness really fell short.

Sotel amsterdam central is in a great spot, just 5 minutes from the central station. My room had the charm of a dutch house, such a fun experience. The staff was super helpful with local tips too!
